The Avenue Church is committed to loving others as well as we can, by meeting spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.

We hope you’ll join us in spreading the love of Jesus!

Ave Kids

At the Avenue, we want people of all ages to feel welcomed, involved, and loved. Every Sunday, we’ve got ministries specifically designed to help our children learn about Jesus, encounter God’s Word, and grow in their love of God and others.

Bible Classes

Every week we have Bible Classes for children of all ages, where our kids learn simple lessons from the Bible in a fun, safe, Jesus-centered environment.

Ave Kids Children's Worship

During the Sunday sermon, our kids (3-7) are dismissed to Childrens' Worship, where they sing, play, make crafts, and have an age-appropriate lesson from the Bible. A nursery is also available for younger children.

Kids' Songs

We want our kids to play a role in our worship every Sunday! Each week, our kids are invited up to the platform to help lead the congregation in fun, joyful songs of praise to God. This is one of the highlights of our gatherings each week!

Ave Youth

Our teenagers bring so much life and joy into our congregation! All our youth are invited to weekly Bible Classes, where they talk about how following Jesus is relevant to their lives. Our youth meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 5-6:30 for fun, food and fellowship, and we have regular youth events designed for fun, service, and worship.

Helping Hands Ministries

Our Helping Hands Ministries are the way in which we reach beyond our walls to share the love of Jesus with our community and city. We love to feed, clothe, serve, and spend time with our community, and its a blessing to be able to help where we can.

Soup Kitchen

Love Others Community Kitchen

The L.O.C.K. serve a free meal to our community on the third Saturday of every month. We serve dine-in and drive-thru meals, and distribute many meals to some community partners in the area.

Clothing House

Our clothing house distributes childrens' clothing to anyone in our community who needs it three times a year (Spring/Summer, Back-to-School, and Fall/Winter).

Room in the Inn

During the winter we partner with other area churches to offer a winter shelter program. This program provides housing and food every night of the week to anyone who needs it.
